MINH HẠNH (báo lao động) 30/10/2026 09:00 (GMT+7)

Train NA2 Hanoi - Vinh route adds Phu Ly station to the passenger pick-up and drop-off journey, creating convenience for people to go for medical examination and treatment.

From November 1, 2016, train NA2 Hanoi - Vinh route will add Phu Ly station to the passenger pick-up and drop-off route, creating convenience for people in Nghe An and Ha Tinh to go for medical examination and treatment at central-level hospitals in neighboring areas.

According to information from the Railway industry, the addition of Phu Ly station is to meet the increasing travel needs of people from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces coming for medical examination and treatment at Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, facility 2, located in Liem Tuyen ward, Ninh Binh province.

Faced with this need, the Railway industry has implemented plans to strengthen passenger transport capacity and improve connectivity with areas with central-level medical facilities.

Phu Ly station is identified as a convenient connection point for passengers to continue traveling to the two hospitals. According to the expected schedule, train NA2 departs from Vinh station at 9:55 pm the previous day and arrives at Phu Ly station at 3:54 am the next day.

To serve passengers, the terminal area has been upgraded with a canopy, seats are arranged in the waiting room, and favorable conditions are created for connecting with vehicles outside the terminal.

With the schedule to Phu Ly in the early morning, patients and their relatives have more time to rest before continuing to travel to the hospital, proactively preparing procedures and registering for examination from early morning. If completing medical examination and treatment during the day, passengers can return to their locality without having to stay overnight, thereby saving travel costs.

Currently, tickets for the departure and arrival routes to Phu Ly station have been opened for sale. People can book tickets through the official website of the Railway industry at dsvn.vn, e-wallet applications or buy directly at ticket counters at stations.

Previously, in order to meet the travel needs of people coming for medical examination and treatment, the Railway industry added one passenger car for the train to serve connecting with hospital areas. According to published information, the addition of cars helps increase transport capacity to about 700 passengers per trip, equivalent to 1,400 passengers per day.

The addition of Phu Ly station to the NA2 train route from November 2026 is expected to increase traffic connectivity, create favorable conditions for people in the Central provinces to access central-level medical services, and at the same time promote the role of railway transport in serving people's needs.
