Digital Trade Union Group" helps workers reflect petitions
The "Digital Trade Union Group" model at businesses in Ninh Binh is opening up more connection channels, helping workers access information, reflect recommendations and receive support from the Trade Union organization quickly and conveniently.
At Santerlon Travel Goods Co., Ltd. (Hoa Xa Industrial Park, Thanh Nam ward, Ninh Binh province), the "Digital Trade Union Group" model has been implemented and maintained for many years. The group has the task of supporting union members to access digital utilities, improving identification capabilities, and preventing risks of unsafety in cyberspace.
Mr. Bui Huy Luc - Chairman of the company's Trade Union - informed that since 2022, the Trade Union Executive Committee has promoted the application of digital technology in trade union activities, contributing to improving the effectiveness of information, propaganda and connection with union members and employees (NLĐ).
In addition, the company's Trade Union focuses on building and maintaining Zalo, Facebook groups,... to exchange, transmit information, disseminate policies related to employees and announce trade union activities. Through these groups, union members can quickly receive information, exchange opinions, reflect thoughts, aspirations and interact with trade union officials more conveniently, without being limited by time or workplace.
Also to better reach workers and laborers; Truong Tho Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company Branch, Hoa Xa Industrial Park, Thanh Nam ward, Ninh Binh province has launched the digital trade union group.
Mr. Nguyen Van Truong - Chairman of the branch of the company's Trade Union - commented: "The establishment of the Digital Trade Union Group aims to promote the application of information technology in trade union activities, helping information reach workers faster and more conveniently. In the coming time, I hope that the members of the "Digital Trade Union Group" will be the force directly supporting union members and employees to access and use digital platforms and services.
It is known that in Hoa Xa Industrial Park as of October 20, 18/46 "Digital Trade Union Groups" were established, reaching 39% of grassroots trade unions in the area establishing "Digital Trade Union Groups", exceeding 90% of the assigned target, among 18 "Digital Trade Union Groups", there are 2 model points and 16 regular models.
For the "Digital Trade Union Group" model, the point will have an additional QR code of the group shared widely on Zalo and Facebook groups; pasted on news boards, dining halls, fingerprint scanning places, drinking trees, parking garages,... so that employees can reflect opinions and recommendations, or request legal assistance at any time and grassroots trade unions process opinions and recommendations on the same day.
According to Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation Vu Hong Minh, the implementation of the "Digital Trade Union Group" model is a solution to innovate trade union operating methods, bringing trade union organizations closer to union members and workers.
In the coming time, the Provincial Labor Federation will continue to guide and support grassroots trade unions to implement models suitable to the actual conditions at enterprises, focusing on promoting the effectiveness of digital platforms in propaganda, receiving and processing workers' recommendations.
