Smart meeting room application eliminates connection distance for workers
Thanks to the application of smart meeting rooms, employees at businesses in Ho Chi Minh City can easily interact remotely, helping to optimize working processes.
Many businesses currently still encounter inconveniences in the meeting process such as losing time connecting equipment, manual projection, difficulty coordinating with remote personnel or ineffective meeting room management. The smart meeting room model was born to thoroughly solve these problems through the application of modern technology, helping to optimize working processes and promote digital transformation 4.0.
At the JVS Company's grassroots trade union, the introduction of interactive technology into daily life and operation has created a clear breakthrough. Previously, the organization of meetings and training took a lot of preparation time, and information transmission was mainly one-way. The application of smart meeting rooms helps completely erase paper documents and switch to a digital data system. In particular, real-time connection has eliminated geographical boundaries, allowing workers from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City to directly interact and discuss on the same platform.

Directly participating in meetings according to the new model, Mr. Nguyen Van Duy - technical staff of JVS Company - shared that learning operating procedures in the past through printed materials is very difficult to imagine. "Thanks to the intuitive interactive screen, we can directly operate, test safety procedure simulations and handle incidents. Accessing new technology helps workers to be less relegated to the AI wave," Mr. Duy said.
Assessing the effectiveness of the initiative, Mr. Tran Duy Dong - Chairman of the Trade Union of JVS Company - emphasized that when it comes to digital transformation, what the trade union organization cares about is not how much more modern equipment the unit has, but whether that technology really helps union members or not.
When applied correctly, internal training programs or skills enhancement become visual, turning the lesson into a true teamwork space and stimulating creativity. For grassroots trade unions with thousands of workers, this is the optimal solution to help connect union members more substantively and deeply.
Mr. Tran Thai Son - General Director of JVS - said that stemming from the actual difficulties of workers, the enterprise has built 3 application spaces including: smart meeting room, smart classroom and STEAM on an interactive technology platform.
Mr. Son affirmed that the digital transformation process should not start with the question of what equipment to buy, but must start from what difficulties users are facing and how technology supports them.

In addition to promoting the application of technology in trade union management and activities, the work of caring for the material and spiritual life of union members is always identified as a central and consistent task. Every year, the JVS Company Trade Union maintains practical welfare policies such as: periodic health check-ups, full implementation of social insurance, health insurance and organizing tourism, teambuilding to connect collectives.
For cases where workers encounter difficult circumstances or incidents, the Trade Union promptly visits and gives gifts to support. During the Lunar New Year, the program to support train and bus tickets to take workers home for Tet continues to be a warm support, helping union members feel secure and attached to their work.
