Phu Tho applies many models to prevent workers from being out of sync with AI and digital transformation
Phu Tho - Trade unions have applied many digital transformation models, applying AI to help workers master technology.
Applying multiple digital transformation models
Hoa Binh Ward Trade Union launches the "Electronic Bookcase of Hoa Binh Ward Trade Union" model from May 2026.
The model creates a space for reading, searching and learning on a digital platform, helping officials, union members, and workers access documents via smartphones, tablets, or computers connected to the Internet.
Ms. Bui Thi Ha (32 years old) - a worker at Song Da Left Bank Industrial Park, Hoa Binh Ward - said that the Ward Trade Union's deployment of electronic bookshelves helps her have a more convenient way to access books and materials.
According to Ms. Ha, instead of having to find and buy or go to the library, workers can use their phones to read books on digital platforms. When she is free, she often opens an electronic bookshelf to find suitable content.
On weekends, I often take my children to read books with me. The children have more materials to read, and I also take advantage of finding content that is suitable for my work and life," Ms. Ha shared.
At the Lam Thao Regional Health Center, the model point "Trade Union members applying digital transformation in work" was implemented with 221 union members.
From May 1, 2026, the Center will deploy a software system at 100% of departments and rooms with 4 servers and 150 stations serving patient management, diagnostic imaging, testing management and data storage.
The unit also trains digital skills for officials and union members; deploys electronic medical records, digital signatures and electronic documents. Through this, 100% of medical records and directing and operating documents are digitized, contributing to reducing procedure time and improving work efficiency.

Towards mastering technology
Phu Tho Provincial Labor Federation said that one of the three breakthroughs identified in the 2025 - 2030 term is to promote digital transformation.
To implement this policy, in addition to building models, the trade union also promotes training classes.
Nong Trang Ward Trade Union organizes trade union professional training and deploys digital transformation applications for grassroots trade union officials.
The training content includes instructions on integrating social security accounts and using online public services.
In many grassroots trade unions, digital transformation is associated with trade union activities, Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health. Propaganda and education work is also gradually applying digital platforms.
Many young union members have become the core force, supporting colleagues in using VNeID, electronic health insurance and digital insurance services when carrying out administrative procedures.
According to the Phu Tho Provincial Trade Union, the whole province has more than 348,000 workers. Of which, more than 329,700 people work in the production and business sector. The rate of trained workers reached 70.7%.
At the 1st Congress, term 2025 - 2030, Phu Tho Provincial Trade Union set a target of more than 90% of workers using online public services.
From grassroots models, digital transformation is gradually entering the daily work of union members and workers.
Improving digital skills is seen as a foundation for building a modern worker team that proactively adapts to new technology requirements.
