Trade union brings "Digital Mailbox" to worker dormitory
Dong Thap - Workers in boarding houses have an additional channel to send their thoughts, aspirations, reflections, and recommendations to the Trade Union organization through the "Trade Union Digital Mailbox".
On the evening of October 7th, at Tan Ly Dong Cultural House, Tan Huong commune, the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized the program "Meeting - Listening - Sharing with workers in boarding houses" in 2026, with the participation of nearly 80 workers.
Attending were Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Provincial Party Committee Member, Chairwoman of the Provincial Labor Federation, along with Vice Chairmen, leaders of professional departments of the Provincial Labor Federation and nearly 100 guests, delegates who are union members, workers, and laborers.

A new point in the program is that the Provincial Labor Federation is deploying the "Trade Union Digital Mailbox" at 5 worker dormitories. Through QR codes placed in the dormitory, workers can use their phones to send opinions, thoughts, aspirations, reflections or recommendations to the Trade Union organization.
The contents received will be coordinated by the Trade Union with relevant agencies and units to guide, answer and handle according to their authority. Through this, the "Digital Mailbox" creates an additional two-way interaction channel, helping the Trade Union proactively grasp the situation of life, employment and issues arising from workers' residences.

At the program, workers also directly exchanged views on many practical issues such as security, property safety in boarding houses, travel when working night shifts, boarding house regulations, salaries, social insurance, living conditions, administrative procedures and support for workers facing difficulties.

Opinions were directly listened to, exchanged and answered by representatives of the Provincial Labor Federation, government and Tan Huong Commune Police. In particular, people with good questions in a practical direction about life, employment and boarding house living relationships... were given gifts by the organizers.

The program also propagates drug prevention and control, ensuring security and order in boarding houses; guiding workers to create and update electronic health records on the VNeID application.
According to Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Chairwoman of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation, the activity aims to innovate the Trade Union's operating methods in the direction of being close to the grassroots level, close to union members and workers; and at the same time expand the companionship and care from the workplace to the workplace of workers.

Bringing the "Trade Union Digital Mailbox" to the boarding house is expected to contribute to increasing the ability to connect and receive information from the grassroots level, thereby promptly supporting workers and building harmonious and stable labor relations.
