Corps 16 brings the law closer to workers in remote areas of Lam Dong

On October 9th, in Quang Tan commune, Lam Dong province, Brigade 16 coordinated with the National Defense Trade Union, Dong Nai City Labor Federation and Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation to organize the 2026 Law Understanding and Propaganda Contest with the theme "Solidarity - Affection - Upholding the Law".

Colonel Trinh Pham Hoa, Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Commander of the 16th Corps, attended and directed the contest.

The contest aims to raise awareness and awareness of law compliance among officials, trade union members, workers and people; and at the same time innovate the form of dissemination and legal education, strengthening the close relationship between units and people.

The teams participated in two parts of the competition including legal knowledge and greetings, propaganda skits.

The content focuses on labor law, trade unions, rights and obligations of workers; traffic safety; prevention and control of drugs, crime, domestic violence; environmental protection, forest protection; land, ethnicity, religion and prevention and control of toxic information in cyberspace.

Through theatrical form, the teams recreate close-knit situations about labor disputes, early marriage, marriage and family, forest protection, and social media use.

Through this, legal regulations are vividly conveyed, helping viewers easily understand, remember and apply them to reality.

Giving gifts and supporting workers in difficult circumstances

In addition to propaganda activities, the program also implements many social security activities, targeting workers and people in difficult circumstances in the area.

Within the framework of the program, the Military Women's Committee presented gifts worth 10 million VND to Hoa Sim Kindergarten under Economic - National Defense Team 720, Corps 16.

Corps 16 and units and businesses presented gifts to trade union members, workers, women's union members and people in difficult circumstances, with a total value of more than 150 million VND.

The gifts contribute to sharing difficulties and encouraging families to rise up in life.

On this occasion, Brigade 16 organized book and newspaper exhibitions and arranged "Legal Corners", creating conditions for cadres, union members, workers and people to access free materials and learn about practical legal regulations in life.

Economic - defense delegations also organized "0-dong booths", giving clothes, books, school supplies, necessities and household items to people.

The activity not only supports those in difficult circumstances but also shows the spirit of sharing and responsibility to the community.
