Nghe An expands trade union network with 1,182 new union members
Nghe An - Trade union levels promote union member development, establishing 18 new grassroots trade unions with 1,182 union members in October.
On October 26, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that in October, trade union levels in the province synchronously implemented solutions to develop union members, establish grassroots trade unions (CĐCS), grassroots trade unions, contributing to expanding the Trade Union organization and gathering workers.
To achieve this goal, Labor Federations at all levels strengthen access to agencies and businesses, grasp the labor situation and coordinate with employers to propagate the role, functions, and tasks of the Trade Union organization. Along with that, trade union officials directly mobilize workers to participate in organizing and exchanging with units about the establishment of grassroots trade unions, especially in places that meet the conditions.
Thanks to the implementation of the above solutions, in October, Nghe An province established 18 new grassroots trade unions with a total of 1,182 union members.
Promoting propaganda and direct mobilization at agencies and businesses contributes to developing union members and expanding the network of trade union organizations. Thereby, creating conditions for workers to participate in their representative organizations, gradually improving the effectiveness of performing the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
