Vang Danh Ward launches 3 grassroots trade unions at enterprises
Quang Ninh - 3 businesses in Vang Danh ward signed a treaty with many clauses beneficial to workers right after launching the grassroots trade union.
On the morning of October 25th, the Trade Union of Vang Danh ward organized a conference to announce the decision to establish grassroots trade unions, launch the Executive Committee, sign collective labor agreements and train legal knowledge, skills, and trade union nghiệp vụ for officials, union members, and workers at enterprises in the area.
At the conference, representatives of the City Labor Federation announced decisions to establish grassroots trade unions at 3 enterprises including: Hoang Giang Design Consulting Joint Stock Company, Bao Viet Quang Ninh Trading Investment Co., Ltd., Huy Anh Construction and Trading Consulting Joint Stock Company; and at the same time, admitted 31 new trade union members to join the Trade Union organization.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, representatives of employers and grassroots trade union executive committees at 3 enterprises signed collective labor agreements.
The agreement recognizes many clauses that are more beneficial to workers than the provisions of law on salaries, bonuses, on-site allowances, accident and occupational safety insurance.
Within the framework of the program, the conference listened to the dissemination and training of basic contents of labor law, Trade Union Law, regimes and policies on social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, skills, and trade union nghiệp vụ for the team of officials at newly established grassroots trade unions to help units soon go into regular, substantive and effective operation.
