Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union, Da Nang establishes new grassroots trade union

News from the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union, Da Nang city on October 25 said: The Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union organized a conference to announce the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union (CĐCS) of Tri Tin Thanh Co., Ltd., launched the Executive Committee and the Inspection Committee of the CĐCS.

At the conference, 87 workers were admitted to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, marking a new step in the development of trade union organization building at enterprises.

The establishment of grassroots trade unions not only expands the force of union members but also creates a basis for the Trade Union organization to promote its representative role, care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; and at the same time contributes to building harmonious and stable labor relations at enterprises.

Speaking at the conference, the leader of the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union proposed that the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union soon develop operating regulations and assign tasks to each member.

Promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members, coordinate with employers to implement regimes and policies related to employees; promote the role of union members in participating in building a safe, democratic, and united working environment.

Thereby, contributing to raising workers' awareness of their rights and obligations when participating in the Trade Union organization, creating a connection between workers and businesses.

On this occasion, the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union presented 15 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, showing the concern and sharing of the Trade Union organization with workers. The activity contributed to encouraging union members to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, feel secure in their work and have more trust and attachment to the Trade Union organization.
