Establishing 17 more grassroots trade unions in Chanh Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City - Chanh Hiep Ward Trade Union has organized the awarding of decisions to establish 17 more grassroots trade unions with 465 union members.
On October 24, the Trade Union of Chanh Hiep Ward (HCMC) said that it had awarded decisions to establish 17 grassroots trade unions (CĐCS).
Accordingly, the Trade Union of Chanh Hiep Ward has announced the decisions of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation on the establishment of 17 grassroots trade unions in units and businesses in the area, with a total of 465 trade union members.
The establishment of 17 grassroots trade unions is an important step forward in the work of developing union members, building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization, contributing to better caring for the lives and protecting the rights of workers in Chanh Hiep ward.
After handing over the establishment decision, Chanh Hiep Ward Trade Union guided trade union work nghiệp vụ for grassroots trade unions.
Leaders of Chanh Hiep Ward Trade Union proposed that the Executive Committees of grassroots trade unions urgently stabilize the organization, assign tasks, and develop operating plans for the last months of 2026. At the same time, effectively implement the professional contents that have been guided; promote the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers, bringing trade union activities into order right from the early days of establishment.
Chanh Hiep Ward Trade Union said that the unit is promoting the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions in the area, focusing on developing union members in enterprises with 20 or more employees. In 2026, the unit has developed 25 more grassroots trade unions with 648 union members.
