Hoi An Tay Ward Trade Union, Da Nang establishes 3 new grassroots trade unions
Da Nang - Hoi An Tay Ward Trade Union established 3 grassroots trade unions, and presented 71 gifts to female union members in difficult circumstances.
On October 24, Hoi An Tay Ward Trade Union (Da Nang) said that the unit had organized a conference to announce the decision to establish 3 grassroots trade unions at enterprises, launched the grassroots trade union executive committee and presented gifts to female union members in difficult circumstances.
Three grassroots trade unions were established at Giang Phong Tourism Co., Ltd., Thien Phu Tourism and Trade Service Joint Stock Company, Van Toan Phat Investment Co., Ltd., with a total of 235 union members.
The establishment of grassroots trade unions contributes to expanding the Trade Union organization at enterprises, creating conditions for workers to be represented, cared for and protected their legitimate and lawful rights and interests.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien - Party Committee Member, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the Hoi An Tay Ward Trade Union congratulated the newly established grassroots trade unions.
Ms. Hien requested the executive committee to proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members, well perform the function of representing, caring for, and protecting workers; coordinate with businesses to build harmonious, stable and developing labor relations.
On this occasion, the Hoi An Tay Ward Trade Union presented 71 gifts, worth a total of 71 million VND, to female union members in difficult circumstances.
The program contributes to encouraging female union members to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and feel secure in working; and at the same time affirms the role of the Trade Union organization in developing union members, building strong grassroots trade unions and practically caring for workers.
