Launching Ngai Giao Market Trade Union, strengthening care and protection of traders' rights

On October 21, Ngai Giao Commune Trade Union (HCMC) said it had just launched the grassroots Trade Union of Ngai Giao market; at the same time, propagating and disseminating laws and drug prevention and control; guiding the installation and use of the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen application; propagating the program of Universal Health Examination for union members and workers.

In the program, Ngai Giao Commune Trade Union announced and awarded decisions to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Ngai Giao market; admitted 38 trade union members and appointed an interim Executive Committee. Thereby creating conditions for workers to access capital sources to develop the family economy, stabilize their lives and limit the risk of turning to black credit.

In the conference, union members and workers were also propagated, disseminated, and educated on the law on drug prevention and control; focusing on contents such as: the harmful effects of drugs, related legal regulations, identifying the tricks of criminals and the responsibility of reporting crimes. At the same time, union members were also guided and supported to install and use the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen application; information about the Universal Health Examination program.

According to Ngai Giao Commune Trade Union, through the establishment of the grassroots Trade Union of Ngai Giao market, it aims to gather small traders doing business at the market into the Trade Union organization, creating a common home for union members to be cared for, supported, cared for their lives and protect their legitimate and lawful rights and interests.
