Exciting "Family Meal" contest in An Binh ward to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day
Dong Thap - An Binh Ward Women's Union coordinates to organize a meeting and cooking contest "Family Meal" to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union.
To celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) and Vietnamese Women's Day, on October 20th, the An Binh Ward Women's Union in coordination with the Department of Culture and Social Affairs and the Ward Trade Union organized a meeting, a cooking contest on the theme "Family Meal" and a flower picking contest at the large hall of the Ward Party Committee.
The cooking contest attracted 14 teams from agencies, units, schools, neighborhood women's unions and grassroots trade unions in the ward. Each team of 4 members showed off their cooking skills, presenting family meals for 10 people to eat, ensuring nutrition, food safety and hygiene, economy, and aesthetics.
The teams brought many rich and attractive meals, showing ingenuity, creativity, and solidarity. The contest is an opportunity to exchange and share cooking experiences, and at the same time convey the message about the meaning of family meals in nurturing feelings, preserving happiness, building a prosperous, progressive, happy, and civilized family.
Along with that, the democratic flower picking contest took place sôi nổi, helping officials, union members, and association members giao lưu, learn about family knowledge, and raise awareness about the role and responsibility of women in building happy families.
The results of the cooking contest, the first prize belonged to the An Binh Kindergarten team; the second prize belonged to the An Loc Primary and Secondary School team; the third prize was awarded to the An Binh Primary School, Party Agencies Bloc, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the ward, An Thanh A neighborhood Women's Union and An Thanh neighborhood Women's Union.
Through this activity, An Binh Ward Trade Union promotes its role in caring for the spiritual life of officials, union members, and workers; strengthens exchanges and connections with the Women's Union, agencies, units, schools and businesses in the area, creating a healthy and practical playground.
The activity contributes to honoring the role and position of women in the family and society; encouraging female officials, union members, and association members to promote their capacity, participate in emulation movements, and complete tasks well, contributing to the development of the locality.
