Grassroots trade union in Da Nang organizes women's football tournament to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day

News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on October 20th said: The grassroots Trade Union of Quang Nam Social Protection Center organized a 5-a-side friendly women's football tournament to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day October 20th with the participation of football teams from Quang Nam Social Protection Center, Da Nang Social Protection Center and Hoa Binh Quang Nam Village.

Attending and cheering for the tournament were Ms. Doan Thi Hoai Nhi - Deputy Director of Da Nang City Department of Health; Mr. Ngo Anh Tuan - Head of Social Protection and Children Department; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien - Chairwoman of Hoi An Tay Ward Trade Union; Ms. Pham Thi Phuong Thao - Vice Chairwoman of Hoi An Tay Ward Trade Union, along with leaders of units, a large number of officials, union members, and workers.

The tournament took place in a lively and exciting atmosphere with many beautiful plays, harmonious coordination and the enthusiastic fighting spirit of the female athletes.

Not only creating a playground to train health and improve spiritual life, the activity is also an opportunity for officials, union members, and workers of units to exchange and strengthen solidarity and attachment.

For the team of officials and employees working to care for, nurture and assist vulnerable groups, sports activities also contribute to creating motivation and encouraging spirit to continue to promote responsibility, compassion and dedication to work.
