Maintaining the Trade Union Meal and giving birthday gifts to union members at FDI enterprises

On October 21, Mr. Tran Duy Thanh - Chairman of Ham Kiem Commune Trade Union, Lam Dong province - said that the grassroots trade union of Right Rich International Co., Ltd. in Ham Kiem 2 Industrial Park has just organized a quarterly trade union meal for 2,700 union members and a birthday party for 271 union members who were born in October.

This is an FDI enterprise, the grassroots trade union with the largest number of union members in the province. The activity is organized to care for life, create a cohesive atmosphere and encourage workers in the working process.

With the trade union meal, each meal is worth 50,000 VND, of higher quality than usual and adds many delicious dishes. The total organization cost is 135 million VND. Of which, the trade union supported 81 million VND, and the rest was paid by the enterprise.

In addition, the union also organized a birthday party for 271 union members in October. Each person was served a meal worth 50,000 VND and received a birthday gift in cash worth 150,000 VND.

The total cost of gifts is 40.65 million VND. Union members also cut cream cakes, harmonizing with birthday wishes in a joyful atmosphere.

According to Mr. Tran Duy Thanh, in the past time, grassroots trade unions have maintained organizing trade union meals, birthday parties and commending union members with good labor productivity.

These activities show the concern of trade union organizations and businesses for workers, and at the same time encourage workers to improve productivity and actively compete in production.

Maintaining practical care activities also contributes to increasing the connection between union members and trade union organizations and businesses, building a positive working environment and creating motivation for workers to feel secure in working and accompanying businesses.
