Trade Union of Industry and Trade strengthens protection of workers' rights with legal advice and AI
On the afternoon of October 21, the Vietnam Trade and Industry Union signed a Legal Consulting Service Contract with BCLAW Law Company Limited.
The event marks an important breakthrough after 19 years of establishing the Industry Trade Union, concretizing the Resolution of the V Congress of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union (term 2025–2030), standardizing legal procedures and building a professional consulting ecosystem to protect the legitimate rights of union members and workers.
Attending and chairing the Signing Ceremony, on the side of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union were Comrade Le An Hai, Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union; Comrade Le Thi Duc, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union; and leaders and representatives of the Professional Committee.
On the side of BCLAW Law Company Limited, there were Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Hoa, Director of the Company; Dr. Do Ngan Binh, Professional Director; and a team of lawyers and legal experts.
Comprehensive protection of the legal rights of union members and workers
The legal consulting service contract has a validity period of 5 years, starting from November 1, 26, a meaningful time coinciding with the 19th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam National Union of Industry and Trade.
Accordingly, BCLAW Law Company Limited will undertake in-depth legal consulting in the field of labor management and salary for the Vietnam Trade and Industry Union. The scope of work is divided into 4 core items:
Reviewing legal document data: Periodically every month, BCLAW reviews and updates the latest legal normative document system related to the rights and obligations of employees and labor relations.
Consulting and answering regular questions: BCLAW answers legal questions in the field of labor and salary.
Providing consulting opinions at seminars and forums: BCLAW sends professional personnel to participate and provides direct legal consulting opinions at seminars and dialogue conferences organized or participating by the Vietnam Trade and Industry Union.
Counseling on specific cases and representing dispute resolution: In-depth counseling on situations with evidence, documents and representing labor dispute resolution at competent authorities according to legal regulations.
Building a legal data warehouse system and AI Chatbots to serve union members and workers
A strategic highlight in the cooperation agreement between the two sides is the coordination of standardizing and building a multi-layered legal database, serving the integration into the AI Chatbot tool on the Website and Mobile Application platform of the Vietnam Trade Union.
According to the plan, AI Chatbot will be fully trained in a closed data warehouse environment that has been appraised, to ensure 100% accuracy and legal validity. When members look up, the system clearly separates the reference answers from AI and the direct answers from the BCLAW's team of lawyers. All personal data of members when sending questions is encrypted to strictly comply with personal data protection regulations.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Comrade Le An Hai, Chairman of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union, emphasized the importance of the event for the activities of the Industry Trade Union in the 2025–2030 term. This is the first time after 19 years of establishment that the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union has officially signed a methodical cooperation contract with a law firm, thereby demonstrating the determination to improve professionalism and modernize the legal advice work of the Trade Union organization.
