Trade Union of Industry and Trade improves fire prevention and fighting skills
The Vietnam Trade and Industry Union has just organized fire prevention and fighting and rescue training, equipping knowledge and skills to respond to incidents for officials and employees.
In order to improve knowledge, skills and sense of responsibility in fire prevention and fighting (PCCC) and rescue (CNCH), the Vietnam Trade and Industry Union organizes a training program on PCCC and CNCH for agency officials and employees.
Attending the program were leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Industry and Trade and officials and employees working at the agency. The training program is organized to equip basic knowledge, skills to handle situations and improve the ability to proactively respond when fire, explosion or rescue situations occur.
At the training session, officials and employees of the agency were informed by Comrade Major - Pham Huy Toan, Lecturer of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Academy, of basic knowledge about fire prevention and fighting and CNCH work; common causes of fires and explosions at agencies and workplaces; fire and explosion prevention measures; processes of handling when detecting fires and safe escape skills.
In addition to the theory part, the program focuses on guiding practical skills in using on-site fire fighting equipment, especially how to use fire extinguishers to handle newly arising fires. Through the program, agency officials and employees have more necessary knowledge and skills to calmly and proactively handle fire and explosion situations; and at the same time raise awareness in checking and safely using electrical equipment, heat sources and areas at risk of fire.
Fire prevention and fighting and rescue work is of particular importance in ensuring the safety of life and health of officials and employees, protecting property and maintaining the stable operation of the agency. Therefore, regularly organizing training, updating knowledge and practicing situations handling skills is a necessary requirement, contributing to building a safe working environment, proactively preventing and minimizing the risk of damage caused by fires and explosions.
Through the training session, each official and employee of the Vietnam Trade and Industry Trade Union agency has further improved their awareness and responsibility for fire prevention and fighting and rescue work, thereby proactively implementing preventive measures, being ready to respond to arising situations, contributing to building a safe fire prevention and fighting agency" - Mr. Le An Hai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Chairman of the Vietnam Trade and Industry Trade Union said.
