Take good care so that employees are attached to the business for a long time

On the afternoon of October 20, a delegation of the Korean Trade Union Federation (FKTU) and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) visited and worked at Si Flex Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Bac Ninh).

Introducing at the working session, Mr. Tran Huu Dung - Chairman of the Trade Union of Si Flex Co., Ltd. said that currently, Si Flex Vietnam has about 6,000 employees, while the division in Korea has about 245 people, mainly in charge of research, development and business.

In parallel with production activities, the Trade Union of Si Flex Co., Ltd. pays attention to caring for, representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.

Every month and on holidays and Tet, the Trade Union coordinates with businesses to organize many activities to care for union members and their families, such as giving gifts on International Children's Day, Vietnamese Women's Day October 20, Mid-Autumn Festival; organizing birthdays, visiting union members when getting married and supporting those in difficult circumstances. Especially during Tet, the Trade Union pays attention to giving gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, contributing to helping union members celebrate Tet more fully and warmly.

Speaking at the working session, Mr. Kim Dongmyeong - Chairman of FKTU emphasized that the sustainable development of enterprises cannot be without the efforts, contributions and dedication of workers directly at factories and workshops.

Therefore, protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers, and building a safe and healthy working environment are important goals that businesses and trade union organizations need to aim for together.

Mr. Kim Dongmyeong believes that at Si Flex, the relationship between employees and employers will continue to be built on the basis of mutual respect and trust, thereby creating a foundation for the stable and sustainable development of the business.

Speaking at the working session, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor affirmed that the visit and practical understanding at Si Flex Vietnam Co., Ltd. today is of practical significance, contributing to strengthening mutual understanding between the two trade union organizations.

Here, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong wished the Company's Board of Directors to continue to strictly implement the provisions of Vietnamese labor law; pay attention to improving working conditions, ensuring labor safety and hygiene; gradually improve the material and spiritual life of workers; and at the same time strengthen dialogue, listen to the thoughts and aspirations of workers, and promptly coordinate to solve problems arising in labor relations.

Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized that taking good care of workers is not only the responsibility of businesses but also an important factor contributing to improving productivity, product quality, building a team of skilled, responsible and long-term employees with businesses.

For workers, I hope that they will well comply with labor laws and regulations of enterprises, actively implement the emulation movement "good labor, high productivity, good income" directly contributing to the sustainable development of enterprises and contributing to the socio-economic development of Bac Ninh City, especially contributing to double-digit growth" - Ms. Thai Thu Xuong proposed.

Ms. Thai Thu Xuong believes that when businesses and trade unions share responsibilities, respect each other and aim for common goals, labor relations will become increasingly harmonious and stable, contributing to improving production and business efficiency and the quality of life of workers.
