Training on preventing sexual harassment for workers in Khanh Hoa
Khanh Hoa - The Provincial Labor Federation has just coordinated to organize training to improve skills in preventing and responding to sexual harassment on the workplace for workers.
On October 24, at Nha Trang Bay Joint Stock Company (Suoi Dau Industrial Park - Cam Lam commune), the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with units to organize creative communication training on preventing and responding to sexual harassment in the workplace.
The program has the participation of 35 trade union officials, union members and workers from the grassroots trade unions of Hai Vuong Group.
At the training session, trainees were introduced to the Union for Women's Health in Business of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA); how to identify sexual harassment in the workplace, distinguish misconceptions from reality and learn about relevant legal regulations.
The activity is within the framework of the project "Building models for preventing and responding to violence against women and children in Khanh Hoa province", supported by UNFPA in Vietnam.
According to the plan, in October 2026, the program will organize 6 training classes for trade union officials, union members and workers at Suoi Dau Industrial Park.
Among them, 5 classes are organized at grassroots trade unions with a large number of workers, including: Tin Thinh Co., Ltd., Komega-X Co., Ltd., French Women's Costume Development Co., Ltd., Thong Nhat Swimwear Garment Co., Ltd. and enterprises under Hai Vuong Group.
In addition to equipping knowledge, the program also guides creative communication methods, suitable for each labor group and actual conditions at the enterprise.
Thereby, contributing to raising awareness, preventing sexual harassment, building a safe and civilized working environment and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
