Ninh Binh Trade Union innovates operations, improves workers' rights

According to the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ), it is currently managing 1,770 grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) with 405,204 union members.

In the first 9 months of 2026, trade union levels in Ninh Binh province have implemented many practical activities, strongly focusing on grassroots levels, taking union members and workers (NLĐ) as the center. The work of caring for life, protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers continues to be emphasized, gradually improving the quality of trade union activities.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation - said that in the first 9 months of the year, 204,417 turns of union members and workers were visited and supported by grassroots trade unions with a total amount of over 81 billion VND. This is one of the outstanding results, showing the role of trade union organizations in accompanying and sharing difficulties with workers.

In addition, trade union levels also organized many programs "Tet reunion", "New Year's Eve meal", supporting the construction of "Trade Union Shelter" houses... thereby helping union members and workers have more conditions to stabilize their lives.

Not only caring for material things, trade union levels also organize many cultural, artistic, and sports activities, creating healthy playgrounds for workers after working hours. Cultural, artistic, and sports activities at the grassroots level have attracted about 325,787 union members and workers to participate.

Along with care work, the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation determined that improving the quality of dialogue and collective bargaining is an important solution to protect the rights of workers, build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations. In the first 9 months of the year, trade union levels organized 122 programs and conferences "Listening to union members, workers speak". Through this, 2,067 opinions of union members and workers were exchanged, answered, and resolved by competent authorities.

The recommendations focus on practical issues such as salaries, policies, social insurance, social housing, labor safety and living conditions of workers. Dialogue activities not only stop at receiving opinions but also aim to solve problems arising right at the enterprise, limiting labor disputes" - Mr. Long shared.

Also according to Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Hai Long, Ninh Binh province currently has 996 eligible enterprises and units that have been negotiated and signed collective labor agreements by trade unions. In particular, the Provincial Labor Federation has approved the Project "Promoting dialogue and collective bargaining in enterprises in Ninh Binh province" for the period 2026 - 2030.

In the last months of 2026, the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation will continue to focus on innovating the content and methods of operation, improving the quality of dialogue and collective bargaining, and strengthening supervision of the implementation of regimes and policies for employees.

At the same time, trade union levels will promote the application of technology and digital transformation in activities, develop union members, establish grassroots trade unions and prepare programs to care for the Dinh Mui Lunar New Year 2027.
