Lam Dong honors businesses for workers, workers for businesses
Lam Dong - 20 typical businesses and 5 employees were commended, contributing to spreading effective practices in labor relations.
Caring for workers, building harmonious labor relations
On the afternoon of October 8, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a Conference to commend "Exemplary Enterprises for Employees" and "Exemplary Employees for Enterprises" in 2026.
Attending the conference were Ms. Pham Thi Phuc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province; Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and representatives of departments, agencies, branches, and units.
At the conference, delegates shared effective ways to improve working conditions, increase productivity and income; build collective labor agreements, promote the role of Trade Unions and promote emulation movements in enterprises.
At the conference, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong requested trade union levels in Lam Dong province to continue to improve the quality of grassroots trade union activities, well perform the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
According to Ms. Thai Thu Xuong, a strong Trade Union is not only reflected in the scale of union members or the number of activities, but more importantly, in the ability to represent, protect rights and bring practical benefits to workers.
Sustainable business development is not only assessed through production and business results but also through the quality of employment, working conditions and opportunities for workers to develop and stick with them for a long time.
Trade union levels need to proactively grasp the employment situation, wages, income, working conditions and thoughts and aspirations of workers; strengthen dialogue and collective bargaining, improve the quality of collective labor agreements. At the same time, innovate emulation movements, link trade union activities with improving labor productivity, job quality and income of workers.
Honoring typical examples
For the business community, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong proposed to continue building a safe, stable working environment that respects workers; fully implement regulations on labor, wages, social insurance, and occupational safety and health.
Businesses need to focus on training and improving skills, creating conditions for workers to promote their capacity and initiatives, contributing to improving production and business efficiency.
On this occasion, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation awarded certificates of commendation to 20 typical enterprises and 5 typical workers in 2026; awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 typical enterprises for workers and 15 typical workers for businesses.
The Organizing Committee awarded the Third-class Labor Medal of the President to 3 individuals with outstanding achievements; awarded the Medal "For the cause of building the Vietnam Trade Union organization" to 11 individuals.
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with achievements in arranging and streamlining the organizational structure and streamlining staff; awarded Creative Labor Certificates to typical individuals in the "Good Labor, Creative Labor" movement.
The Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation also awarded prizes for contests organized by the unit in 2026.
