Trade unions care for the most valuable assets of businesses
To accompany the Government in achieving double-digit growth, the Vietnam Trade Union organization has implemented many activities. One of them is launching the emulation movement "Good Labor - High Productivity - Good Income". This clearly demonstrates the role and responsibility of the Trade Union towards workers as well as contributing to business development.
Harmonizing interests between the State, businesses and workers
The emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on June 7, 2026 - is very meaningful, contributing to arousing the spirit of creativity, self-reliance, self-strengthening and responsibility of workers; and at the same time creating motivation to improve productivity, improve income, welfare and working conditions, thereby harmonizing interests between the State, businesses and workers, contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of the country.
When visiting, working, and giving gifts to workers of Hanel PT New Generation Technology Joint Stock Company (Tien Son Industrial Park, Bac Ninh) immediately after the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor launched the emulation movement "Good Labor - High Productivity - Good Income", Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Anh Tuan highly appreciated the outstanding welfare policies that the company has for employees and affirmed that these are practical contents in the collective labor agreement, contributing to ensuring long-term rights and improving the quality of life for employees.
The company is creating jobs for 225 workers, of which local workers account for 60% and female workers about 60%. In 2025, the average income of workers and laborers is from 10 million to 14 million VND/person/month. The company always cares about the lives of workers, currently 100% of workers and laborers participate in the Trade Union organization, are paid social insurance, health insurance and have 2 Saturdays off in a month but still receive full salary.
The President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor proposed that business leaders need to create more space for workers to promote proactiveness and creativity in the production process. Even small initiatives can bring great value if encouraged and replicated. It is proposed that the Company study and apply forms such as technical demonstrations, build mechanisms to receive and reward initiatives weekly and monthly to improve labor productivity, save raw materials, energy and increase production and business efficiency. Trade union levels and functional agencies of the province continue to accompany businesses, advising on building favorable mechanisms on land, credit, taxes and preferential policies. From there, encourage businesses to invest and create conditions for workers to develop their abilities. Chairman Nguyen Anh Tuan also emphasized that the emulation movement for good labor, high productivity, and good income can only be effective when there is close coordination between the Trade Union organization and employers.
Caring for the most precious assets of businesses during the Lunar New Year Dinh Mui 2027
Implementing the 2026 work program, in order to continue to improve the effectiveness of performing the task of representing, caring for, and protecting the rights of workers, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour has issued a Plan to organize activities to care for union members and workers during the Dinh Mui Lunar New Year 2027. In which, it is emphasized to create a peak period for the entire system to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers; prioritize supporting people in difficult circumstances, low incomes, affected by natural disasters, suffering from serious illnesses, reduced employment, job loss, contributing to stabilizing labor relations, promoting production development, ensuring political security, social order and safety. Encourage union members and workers to overcome all difficulties and rise up in life. Mobilize the attention of the whole society, especially employers, in caring for Tet for workers, creating motivation and belief for workers to be attached to businesses, units and Trade Union organizations for a long time. Linking Tet care activities with activities to celebrate the Party and celebrate Spring, creating an emulation atmosphere to bring the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the resolutions of trade union congresses at all levels into life.
On the occasion of Workers' Month 2026, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu visited and presented gifts to trade union members and workers in difficult circumstances at enterprises in Hung Yen province. These are Foremart Vietnam Co., Ltd. (An Thi commune) and Phu Sinh Garment Co., Ltd. (Hong Quang commune). At the enterprises, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu and leaders of the Provincial Confederation of Labor directly visited and inquired about the production and business activities of enterprises; jobs, income, life and encouraged workers to continue to strive in labor and production.
Exchanging with businesses, the Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized that businesses continue to pay more attention to caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers; trade union organizations enhance their representative role, care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of trade union members and workers; each worker strives to promote the spirit of responsibility, actively participate in emulation movements to successfully complete tasks, contributing to the development of businesses.
Trade unions care for the most valuable asset of enterprises
Not only launching emulation, the trade union also implements many activities to contribute to businesses developing production and business. This can be clearly seen through the trade union's care for union members and workers and supporting union members and workers in difficult circumstances so that they can feel secure in their work. In addition to the "Trade Union Home" programs; supporting children of workers in difficult circumstances to study well; supporting workers who are sick and have had labor accidents for many years, now the Vietnam Trade Union organization also has the Program "Gifts from the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress".
The program has reached many union members and workers suffering from serious illnesses and occupational diseases, thereby promptly concretizing the spirit of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress according to the motto of strongly focusing on grassroots levels, taking union members and workers as the center; conveying the political message of the congress into specific and practical care activities, with targets, levels of support and clear implementation methods. According to incomplete statistics, about 23,000 union members and workers have received "Gifts from the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress" directly awarded by leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and leaders of Trade Union levels.
These gifts are not only a source of encouragement and support for workers but also show the spirit of accompanying and caring for the most precious asset of the business.
Along with caring for that most precious asset, the Trade Union organization also regularly cares for and encourages businesses. Right from the beginning of 2026, to encourage workers and businesses, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Xuan Hung visited, worked and presented gifts to encourage officials and workers of Cua Ong Coal Selection Company.
Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Xuan Hung directly visited the production site, learned about working conditions and the thoughts and aspirations of workers. Here, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung expressed his joy and impression of the historical tradition as well as the results that Cua Ong Coal Selection Company has achieved, and emphasized the strategic role of the company as an important link, making particularly important contributions to ensuring national energy security, supplying up to 80% of coal output to key thermal power plants, and highly appreciated the company's efforts in technological innovation, implementing the circular economy model and especially the work of caring for the lives and welfare of workers, creating a bond between workers and businesses.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung requested Cua Ong Coal Selection Company to focus on performing well 3 key tasks: Maintaining the growth momentum of production and business; paying attention to training and improving skills for workers to master new technologies and modern equipment; continuing to better care for material, spiritual and welfare life so that workers can feel secure in their work, considering the Company as their "second home".
In mid-August, leading a training class for Trade Union officials to visit and exchange practical experiences at Cayi Technology Vietnam Limited Company (Cayi Technology Company), Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park, Yen Phong commune, Bac Ninh, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Le Van Nghia highly appreciated the efforts of the Company's Board of Directors in maintaining production, creating jobs, ensuring income and caring for the lives of workers. According to Mr. Le Van Nghia, this is not only the responsibility of employers but also an important factor in building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations, creating a foundation for the sustainable development of the enterprise. Therefore, the practical exchange program for Trade Union officials will help key Trade Union officials directly learn about Trade Union activities at enterprises, exchange ways and experiences in performing the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; thereby linking the knowledge equipped in the training class with practical activities.
On this occasion, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Le Van Nghia requested grassroots trade unions to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in the direction of being close to union members, workers and business practices; proactively grasp thoughts and aspirations, promptly coordinate to solve problems arising in labor relations right from the grassroots level.
