List of 10 faces expected to be commended as outstanding Vietnamese workers nationwide in 2026
Implementing Plan No. 22/KH-TLĐ dated July 15, 2026 of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour on organizing the Program to Commend Typical Vietnamese Workers nationwide in 2026, based on the Report on the results of selection and commendation proposals of the Selection Council (according to Decision No. 290/QD-TLĐ dated August 13, 2026), the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour held a meeting to consider and agree on the plan to commend 10 typical workers nationwide in 2026. The commendation ceremony is expected to be held at 7:30 PM on October 24, 2026.
In order to ensure the publicity and transparency of the Program, the VGCL is taking opinions from union members, workers and people on the list of expected commendations below; time for taking opinions - from October 13, 2026 to the end of October 18, 2026:
Group 1: Typical application of science and technology, digital transformation, technical innovation, innovation
1- Pham Dinh Duan, born in 1986, Vang Danh Coal Company, under the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Trade Union
2- Nguyen Ba Vuong, born in 1977, Technical Department of Vietnam Airlines Corporation under Vietnam Aviation Trade Union
3- Hoang Ngoc Hien, born in 1982, Dai Dung Mechanical and Manufacturing Joint Stock Company, Nghi Son, under Thanh Hoa Labor Federation
4- Nguyen Thanh Ngon, born in 1969, Nam Viet Joint Stock Company under An Giang Labor Federation
5- Tran Thi Van, born in 1986, Hanoi Veston Enterprise - May 10 Corporation under Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union
Group 2: Typical of overcoming difficulties and rising up, affirming bravery, will, determination, optimistic spirit, not giving up to fate
6- Huynh Thi Ly, born in 1987, Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. under Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation
7- Nguyen Duc Toan, born in 1984, General Internal Medicine Department, U Minh General Hospital under Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation
Group 3: Typical in building and protecting the Party, State, regime, Vietnam Trade Union and enterprises, units
8- Nguyen Duc Hung, born in 1991, ChangShin Vietnam Co., Ltd. under Dong Nai Labor Federation
Group 4: Typical in participating in community activities, building the image of friendly, responsible, and compassionate Vietnamese workers
9- Nguyen Van Cung, born in 1981, Viettel Dak Lak Construction Branch, Viettel Group under the National Defense Trade Union Committee
Group 5: Typical in participating in national and international competitions and contests
10- Nguyen Duc Quyen, born in 1999, Toto Vietnam Co., Ltd. under the Hanoi Labor Federation.
