Phu Tho Trade Union brings the law closer to Hong An Shoe workers
Phu Tho - The legal propaganda program at Hong An Shoe Joint Stock Company contributes to raising awareness and protecting the rights of workers.
On the evening of October 23, the Phu Tho Provincial Labor Counseling and Support Center coordinated with the Lien Son Commune Trade Union to organize a program to propagate and disseminate legal knowledge combined with cultural exchange at Hong An Shoe Joint Stock Company.
Attending the program were Mr. Tong Duc Chien - Director of the Phu Tho Provincial Laborer Counseling and Support Center; Ms. Tran Thi Thinh - Deputy General Director of Hong An Shoe Joint Stock Company and a large number of union members and workers.
Hong An Shoe Joint Stock Company specializes in producing shoes and sandals for the domestic and export markets, currently has nearly 400 trade union members.
The highlight of the program is the legal knowledge competition with the participation of 3 teams from the company. The content revolves around the Labor Code, Trade Union Law, Employment Law, 2024 Social Insurance Law, Law on Occupational Safety and Health and Law on Implementation of Democracy at the Grassroots Level.
With the form of stage performance combined with knowledge questions and interaction with the audience, legal regulations are conveyed vividly, closely, attracting the response of union members and workers.
The program also includes cultural exchange activities, creating a joyful atmosphere, contributing to strengthening the connection between workers and businesses.
Through this activity, union members and workers gain more legal knowledge, raise awareness of complying with regulations and proactively protect their legitimate and lawful rights and interests. Thereby, contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
Propaganda and dissemination of laws is one of the contents that the Phu Tho Provincial Workers' Counseling and Support Center and Lien Son Commune Trade Union focus on implementing to improve the effectiveness of trade union activities, care for and protect the rights of union members and workers.
