Ward Trade Union surveys grassroots trade union activities
Hanoi - The Trade Union of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward has conducted a direct survey at Falinwa Vietnam Co., Ltd.
Accordingly, the survey delegation of the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Trade Union had a direct working session at Falinwa Vietnam Co., Ltd. to survey the actual trade union activities, provide professional guidance and assess the working environment at the enterprise.
Reports at the working session showed that, although newly established in June 2026, the Trade Union of Falinwa Vietnam Company has quickly become disciplined. The unit currently has 18 union members, including 14 women, reaching a gathering rate of over 90% of qualified workers.
The company and the grassroots trade union have signed a Collective Labor Agreement with many clauses that are more beneficial than the law, such as increasing meal allowances, supplementing leave days and flexible working hours for workers raising young children.
The work of caring for life is maintained with 15 visits and congratulations (total budget of nearly 8 million VND); trade union financial revenue and expenditure activities are transparent and in accordance with regulations, currently maintaining a balance of more than 15 million VND.
One of the highlights recognized and highly appreciated by the survey delegation is the initiative to launch workers to sort waste at source right in the office implemented by the Company's trade union. This initiative not only contributes to environmental protection, building a "green - clean - beautiful" working space but also raises the sense of community responsibility of each union member; this is a good and practical model that needs to be replicated in the business sector in the ward.
At the working session, the Ward Trade Union directly guided professional operations on financial bookkeeping, the process of estimation - finalization and how to build union member records in accordance with the Trade Union Charter.
