Workers' guesthouse, care from practical things
The model of worker guesthouse at Nam Thanh Environment Joint Stock Company (Hanoi) has just been inaugurated and put into use. The project is proposed by the Company's Trade Union, in coordination with business leaders to renovate and repair to improve resting conditions, showing practical concern and care for workers.
For environmental workers who regularly work outdoors, working hard from dawn to dusk to keep the streets clean and beautiful, motels are practical projects, helping workers have more resting places, avoid sun and rain, and restore health during hard working hours.
Receiving this concern, the female workers of Nam Thanh Environmental Company expressed joy, excitement and emotion. The project, although not large, contains the concern, responsibility and affection of business leaders and the Trade Union organization, adding motivation for employees to feel secure in their work, attached to the company, and actively complete their tasks.
According to workers, the guesthouse will help them have more space to rest, regenerate labor, feel secure in their work and stick with the business. This is also proof of the effectiveness of the coordination between the Trade Union organization and the business in building a humane working environment, harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
The construction of guesthouses for workers continues to affirm the role of the Trade Union organization in coordinating with businesses to care for workers' lives, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations, for the practical rights of union members and workers.
What is special is that at the launch of the worker guesthouse model, representatives of the Thanh Tri Commune Trade Union (Nam Thanh Environment Joint Stock Company located in the commune) visited, congratulated and encouraged the workers. The Commune Trade Union leaders acknowledged and thanked the Board of Directors of Nam Thanh Environment Joint Stock Company for their concern and companionship with the Trade Union organization in caring for life and improving working conditions for workers.
This is not the first guesthouse for environmental workers. In May 2026, Hanoi Urban Environment One Member Limited Liability Company put into use the Workers' Guesthouse project with a scale of 2 floors, a usable area of 100.55m2. The project has practical significance in improving resting conditions, restoring health for direct workers working in the field of environmental sanitation and maintaining urban infrastructure. The project has met the needs for resting space and health recovery during mid-shift periods of workers due to the nature of outdoor work, shifts, in harsh weather conditions and high labor intensity.
