Vinh Long - Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union plans to take care of Tet Nguyen Dan Dinh Mui 2027 for 15,000 union members and workers, prioritizing difficult cases.
The Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) has just issued Plan No. 116/KH-LĐLĐ on organizing activities to care for union members and workers (ĐV, NLĐ) during the Dinh Mui Lunar New Year 2027, with the theme "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" and the motto "All union members and workers have Tet, enjoy Tet".
According to the plan, the Provincial Labor Federation is expected to care for 15,000 union members and workers. Of which, 2,250 people are visited and given gifts directly; the rest are supported with funds through transfers to personal accounts.
Priority subjects are union members and workers from poor and near-poor households, in particularly difficult circumstances, with low incomes; people affected by natural disasters, suffering from dangerous diseases, labor accidents, reduced working hours or losing jobs.
At the provincial level, the trade union plans to organize the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" associated with launching the 2027 emulation movement for 900 union members; coordinate to organize "Trade Union Year-end Meal"; visit and wish Tet to businesses and give gifts to 700 union members and workers.
In addition, the Provincial Labor Federation organized a meeting of 300 party members and workers at non-state-owned enterprises to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam; visited and presented gifts to 300 union members and workers working on New Year's Eve in 3 areas.
The Provincial Labor Federation also coordinated to guide union members and workers to participate in the online "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2027" program; supported 40 air tickets for workers in difficult circumstances to travel from Can Tho airport to Noi Bai airport (Hanoi) to return home for Tet.
At grassroots trade unions, units proactively coordinate with employers to organize buses, trains, and planes to transport workers back to their hometowns; implement the "Tet not far from home" program for those who do not have the conditions to return to their hometowns.
At the same time, trade union levels strengthen supervision of the implementation of Tet salary and bonus regimes; employers publicize salary and bonus payment plans at least 20 days before the Tet holiday, contributing to ensuring rights and helping workers feel secure in welcoming Tet.
