Quang Ngai - Two trade union organizations support 80 million VND to help the family of war invalid Ho Van Thuan build a new house and stabilize their lives in the resettlement area.

On October 25th, the Trade Union of the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transport Works of Quang Ngai province said that the unit has coordinated with the Trade Union of Bridge and Tunnel Design Consulting Joint Stock Company (BRITEC) to support 80 million VND for the family of war invalid Ho Van Thuan to build a new house in the Lang Loa concentrated resettlement area, Tay Tra Bong commune.

Mr. Ho Van Thuan's family is classified as a poor household. He himself is a war invalid, and has lived in a landslide-prone area in Tra Lanh village, Tay Tra Bong commune for many years.

The support of 80 million VND from two trade union organizations helps his family have more funds to build a new house, gradually stabilizing their lives in a safer place.

Receiving support, Mr. Thuan was happy and excited when his family had the opportunity to build a new house in the resettlement area. After many years of living in a landslide-prone area, being arranged for a new residence along with financial support from organizations and philanthropists helped his family alleviate difficulties and feel more secure before the rainy and flood season.

The Lang Loa concentrated resettlement area is invested and built on an area of 3.8 hectares, with a total investment of 29 billion VND, to arrange accommodation for 37 households, including 164 people in Tra Lanh village, which is at risk of landslides. To date, 28 households are building houses; the remaining 8 households are preparing materials and deploying construction.
