Union members and workers participate in voluntary blood donation, sharing with the community
An Giang - Voluntary blood donation activities show the spirit of responsibility and sharing of the Trade Union organization and union members and workers towards the community.
On October 22nd, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross Society to organize the Voluntary Blood Donation Day, with the message "Blood donation saves lives, a noble gesture".
Responding to the meaningful activities, Chau Doc Ward Trade Union has actively propagated and mobilized union members and workers at grassroots trade unions to participate.
From early morning, union members and workers were present to carry out procedures and check according to regulations before donating blood. As a result, 109 units of blood were received, contributing to supplementing blood sources for emergency and treatment at medical facilities.
The activity demonstrates the spirit of responsibility, compassion and sharing of the Trade Union organization and union members and workers towards the community. Thereby, continuing to spread noble gestures, promote the tradition of mutual affection and affirm the role of the Trade Union organization in social security activities.
