Spreading social responsibility from meaningful actions
Not only taking care of jobs, income and the lives of workers, many businesses also persistently fulfill social responsibility through practical activities.
From sharing with the community to caring for workers
The social responsibility of businesses is also identified by us as an inseparable part of the development process" - Mr. Bui Van Truong - Chairman of Luxshare-ICT Trade Union (Van Trung, Bac Ninh) shared.
According to him, in 2025, the Luxshare-ICT Trade Union (Van Trung) mobilized union members and workers to participate in supporting people affected by storms and floods.
Along with that, the Company and the Trade Union regularly organize activities to visit and support poor children, families in difficult circumstances and social protection facilities. Every year, the enterprise also supports at least 50 million VND for the "Trade Union Shelter" Fund, contributing to helping disadvantaged union members have more conditions to stabilize their lives.
That spirit continues to be maintained in 2026. On International Children's Day June 1st, the Company's Trade Union presented gifts to children being cared for at Bac Ninh General Social Protection Center. Tet care programs, support for union members and workers in difficult circumstances are also being implemented regularly.
For businesses, these activities can start from support funds that are not too large, but behind each gift is concern for specific circumstances. When social responsibility is fulfilled with sincerity and persistence, those values not only reach the community but also become part of the business culture" - Mr. Bui Van Truong shared.
When support comes at the right time when workers need it most
Not only businesses, trade union levels are also contributing to spreading the spirit of social responsibility through practical care activities.
Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation - said that for many years, the Bac Ninh Trade Union organization and the Golden Heart Charity Fund have persistently accompanied and cared for union members and workers.
According to Mr. Chung, what is commendable is that each support is aimed at specific people and families. There are gifts of small value, but when given at the time when workers are most difficult, the spiritual encouragement is very great.
One of the cases supported is Ms. Nguyen Thi Lieu, a union member of the Trade Union of But Thap Garment and Fashion Joint Stock Company in Thuan Thanh ward. The family has 4 people, she is the main breadwinner; her husband's health is not good, her job is unstable, and two young children, one of whom is often sick. She herself has also had to undergo treatment with quite high costs.
The house has been degraded for a long time, but the family does not have the conditions to repair it. Through the Golden Heart Charity Fund, the business has supported 50 million VND for the family to build a new house.
The house of more than 60m2 will be completed before the Lunar New Year 2026, I think the greatest joy is not just having a new roof. More importantly, from there I can be more assured to work, take care of my family and raise my children" - Ms. Lieu shared.
In April 2026, Trade Union officials and the Fund also visited the relatives of union member Luc Van Thuan, a worker of VINA CNS Co., Ltd., who died in a work accident. The Provincial Labor Federation supported 5 million VND, the Golden Heart Charity Fund supported 10 million VND, with the joint efforts of the grassroots Trade Union and colleagues.
Or the case of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy, a worker at BGG Lang Giang Garment Joint Stock Company, who died on her way home from work. Such trips not only carry support money. They are also meetings, stories about the lives of workers behind each circumstance.
There are trips that move us. But there are also trips that bring a lot of joy, when a worker receives the key to a new house, a young child hugs a briefcase or a gift just given, or a worker says that the support comes at the time when the family is most difficult" - Mr. Chung shared.

More than 30 years of preserving affection for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers
In another field, the social responsibility of enterprises is maintained by Vietnam Airlines Corporation with a particularly meaningful activity: supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.
Mr. Dao Manh Kien - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam Airlines Corporation (Vietnam Airlines Trade Union) - said that the Corporation grew up from the military environment. Therefore, the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", "Gratitude" is always preserved and promoted as a cultural value throughout the process of building and developing enterprises.
Along with the task of production and business and caring for the lives of workers, for many years, the Corporation has maintained activities to show gratitude to people with meritorious services to the revolution. In which, receiving and caring for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers is an activity that is carried out regularly.
Over the past three decades, the Corporation and its member units have received hundreds of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in many localities across the country.
In Quang Nam province alone, now Da Nang city, from 1995 to now, Vietnam Airlines has supported 73 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers. To date, 61 Mothers have passed away, and 12 Mothers are continuing to be supported by the Corporation.
Not only maintaining the monthly support regime, the Corporation also regularly organizes working delegations to visit and encourage Mothers. Each visit, the Corporation gives each Mother 2 million VND from the Compassion Fund and gifts from trade union funds. The value of gifts was previously 500,000 VND/Mother and has been increased to 1 million VND/Mother since July 27, 2026.
“The gifts, although not of great material value, are a tribute, gratitude and affection of the collective of officials, union members, and employees of Vietnam Airlines to the great sacrifices and contributions of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland” - Mr. Kien said.
From a house being rebuilt for a difficult worker's family, a gift given to poor children, to the journey of more than 30 years of supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, the social responsibility of businesses is created from specific actions. When sharing becomes a part of corporate culture, those values do not stop at one support but continue to be passed down and spread in the community.
