Dak Lak Trade Union mobilizes resources to care for people with meritorious services
Dak Lak - Trade union levels will deploy emulation movements to care for people with meritorious services to the revolution.
On October 11, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation informed that the unit had just requested trade union levels to deploy an emulation movement to care for people with meritorious services to the revolution.
According to the plan, trade union levels promote propaganda of revolutionary traditions, patriotism and the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", "Gratitude".
Propaganda activities are implemented through newspapers, social networks, and contests to learn about history and preferential policies for people with meritorious services.
Along with that, the trade union organization coordinates with departments, branches, and localities to implement policies for people with meritorious services. Supporting the provision of information to serve the settlement of regimes and rights for union members and workers eligible for benefits.
A key task is to mobilize officials, union members, and workers to participate in activities to search, collect, and identify martyrs' remains. Including the "Operation 500 Days and Nights" and taking martyrs' remains samples for DNA testing.
Trade union levels also coordinate with agencies, units and employers to organize visits, gifts, medical examinations, free medicine distribution, and care for seriously wounded and sick soldiers. Supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and supporting policy families in difficult circumstances.
Social resources are mobilized to repair and improve houses, award gratitude savings books, support tuition fees, scholarships for people who have overcome difficulties and studied well, and contribute to building the Dak Lak Provincial Gratitude Fund.
Notably, the Provincial Labor Federation sets a target for each commune, ward and grassroots trade union to register to implement at least one practical project or part of the work. For example, building gratitude houses, giving savings books, supporting livelihood gardens for union members and workers who are people with meritorious services or relatives of people with meritorious services.
The receipt of support is carried out through the Dak Lak Provincial Gratitude Fund, in cash, in kind, works or directly donated to beneficiary families, with the coordination of the Fatherland Front and local authorities.
