Trade unions share difficulties with workers
Mao Khe Coal Trade Union visits, encourages and gives gifts to workers under construction in production areas facing many difficulties.
Responding to the 90-day and night production labor emulation movement in the fourth quarter of 2026, recently a working delegation led by Mr. Tu Minh Tien - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Mao Khe Coal Company (Quang Ninh) - as head of the delegation and representatives of functional departments directly visited, encouraged and presented gifts to workers of Mining Workshop 1 who are under construction in the production area facing many difficulties.
Exploitation Workshop 1 currently has 106 officials and employees, undertaking construction at area V9D floor -150/-115. At the end of the first 9 months of the year, the unit has made efforts to exploit 81,624 tons of raw coal, reaching 98% of the plan. However, entering the first days of October, the unit faces many challenges due to complex geological conditions.
Currently, the mine area is under great pressure, with water seeping under the mine foundation causing compression and subsidence due to resistance, making transportation difficult. The unit has proactively arranged personnel to maintain, trim, repair, clear and lower the foundation and strengthen mine resistance. The highest priority given to technical and safety consolidation has significantly affected the exploitation yield in recent days.
Sharing the hardships of the unit, Mr. Tu Minh Tien - Vice Chairman of the Company's Trade Union - acknowledged and praised the spirit of effort to overcome difficulties of the collective of Mining Workshop 1.
Mr. Tien emphasized that at this time, the unit needs to closely follow the 90-day and night action program, flexibly apply technical solutions, and pay special attention to occupational safety and health.
At the same time, the department's Trade Union needs to proactively coordinate with professional departments to continue to care for and take good care of life, health and improve working conditions, promptly encourage the spirit so that miners can feel secure in production, gradually improve productivity and complete the Q4 plan.
On the occasion of the trip, the working delegation presented encouragement gifts to 4 production teams of the workshop, each team worth 2 million VND. This is a timely and practical source of spiritual encouragement, showing the companionship and closeness of the Trade Union organization and workers in overcoming difficult times.
