According to Ms. Do Hong Van, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor always identifies caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of female workers as one of the important tasks of the Trade Union organization. Through the pilot implementation process in some localities and sectors in recent years, the General Confederation has issued guidelines on ensuring gender equality, caring for and protecting female workers through dialogue at the workplace.
