Central Theoretical Council receives Ho Chi Minh Order
General Secretary and President To Lam awarded the Ho Chi Minh Order to the Central Theoretical Council.
On the morning of October 29, in Hanoi, the Central Theoretical Council solemnly held the 30th Anniversary of its establishment (October 30, 1996 - October 30, 2026) and received the Ho Chi Minh Order. General Secretary and President To Lam attended the anniversary ceremony.
Also attending were former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; former Politburo member, former President Truong Tan Sang; former Politburo member, former Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Phan Dien.
Also attending were Politburo members, former Politburo members, members of the Secretariat, former members of the Secretariat, members of the Party Central Committee, former members of the Party Central Committee; leaders, former leaders of the Party and State; leaders of ministries, departments, branches, central and local agencies; generations of members and cadres of the Central Theoretical Council; a number of Ambassadors and representatives of international organizations in Vietnam.
Presenting a speech at the Anniversary Ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, said that over the past 30 years, thoroughly grasping the principles: inheritance and development, stability and innovation, linking theoretical research with practical summarization, promoting the role of the predecessor organization, the Central Theoretical Research Committee, the Central Theoretical Council, has always excellently demonstrated its position, role, and mission in Party building work in terms of ideology, politics as well as in theoretical research work.
The Central Theoretical Council has performed well its function of advising the Party on political theory issues, providing arguments for the planning, completion, and development of the Party's guidelines, policies, and policies.
The Central Theoretical Council not only chairs key political theory research programs, especially at the national level, but also chairs major summary projects, is the core force participating in drafting Party Congress documents through various terms; chairs theoretical exchange activities with communist parties and political parties around the world; directly participates in the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against wrong, distorted, and hostile views on the ideological and theoretical front.
At the Anniversary Ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, General Secretary and President To Lam awarded the Ho Chi Minh Order to the Central Theoretical Council for their great and particularly outstanding contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.
