With the motto "All union members and workers have Tet, celebrate Tet", union members and workers at all levels of trade unions will be cared for with activities such as visiting, giving gifts, and wishing Tet to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, low income, with excellent achievements in production and business.

The level of expenses for visiting, giving gifts, and wishing Tet to union members and workers ranges from 1,350,000 VND/person to 2,500,000 VND/person...
Along with activities of visiting, giving gifts, and wishing Tet to union members and workers, the Vietnam Trade Union also organizes the "Tet Sum vay" Program; the "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2027" program directly; the "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2027" program online; organizes trains and flights to take and pick up workers to return to their hometowns for Tet. Accordingly, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour supports trade unions in some southern provinces and cities with 2,000 train tickets (two-way), 550 air tickets (two-way), destinations are the Central region (Hue, Quang Tri, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa), and the Northern region.
The VGCL directs provincial and city VGCLs, central industry trade unions, economic group trade unions, and general corporation trade unions directly under the VGCL to, based on actual resources and the needs of union members and workers, coordinate with businesses, employers and local authorities to organize "Trade Union Bus - Spring 2027", "Trade Union Train - Spring 2027", "Trade Union Flight - Spring 2027" to take union members and workers home to celebrate Tet safely and happily. In addition, trade union levels also organize "Trade Union Year-end Meal" Tet Dinh Mui 2027 for union members and workers according to Guidance No. 01/HD-TLD dated June 30, 2026 of the VGCL on deploying the organization of "Trade Union Meal" annually; grassroots trade unions and upper-level trade unions, based on the situation of union members and workers staying at enterprises and localities, not returning to their hometowns for Tet to organize warm, joyful Tet activities, bearing the Trade Union's imprint.
In case many union members and workers do not return to their hometowns for Tet, organize the "Tet not far from home" program or appropriate forms of activities; visit, give gifts, and organize Tet for workers at boarding houses or on construction sites and projects before the evening of the 30th of Tet (this year is December 29th of the lunar calendar)...
Workers take 7 days off during the Dinh Mui Lunar New Year 2027
During the 2027 Lunar New Year, officials, civil servants, and public employees will have 7 consecutive days off, from Thursday, February 4, 2027 (ie, December 28 of the Binh Ngo year) to the end of Wednesday, February 10, 2027 (ie, January 5 of the Dinh Mui year).
