Proactively prepare early resources to take care of Tet Nguyen Dan Dinh Mui 2027 for workers

On October 2nd, the Executive Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Federation of the XVIII term organized the 6th Expanded Conference under the chairmanship of Mr. Nguyen Van Thang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Federation.

The conference discussed and approved contents such as the Report on the results of Trade Union work and the Capital's CNVCLĐ movement in the third quarter, key tasks for the fourth quarter of 2026; launching a peak emulation period of 90 days to develop union members and establish grassroots trade unions in 2026; launching an emulation movement to respond to the National Innovation Day in 2026 in the Capital's trade union levels.

According to the Report, for the emulation movement, the City Labor Federation has implemented the movements "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income", the movement "Capital Initiatives and Creativity". The City Labor Federation commended 300 "Initiations and Creativities in Capital Workers and Employees"; proposed that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor award "Creative Labor Certificates" to 53 authors and groups of authors; proposed that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor honor Doan Thi Diem Elementary School - Hanoi at the program "Vietnamese Glory in 2026 - Aspiration for 40 years of Doi Moi", Introducing typical individuals proposed for commendation as "National Typical Vietnamese Workers" in 2026...

In the third quarter, the City Labor Federation developed 1,067 grassroots trade unions, admitting 56,602 union members. From the beginning of the year to September 30, 2026, city trade union levels propagated and mobilized to establish 2,027 new grassroots trade unions (reaching 506.7% of the annual plan for grassroots trade unions) and admitted 100,310/65,000 new union members (reaching 154.3% of the annual plan for union member development adjusted by the General Confederation). In which, development in newly established units: 69,168 union members, development in units with trade union organizations: 31,142 union members.

In the fourth quarter of 2026, the City Labor Federation set out a number of key tasks. In which, proactively develop plans, prepare early resources to organize practical care activities for union members and workers during the Dinh Mui Lunar New Year 2027. Continue to consider and support the construction of Trade Union Warm Houses; provide emergency allowances for workers and employees who suffer from work accidents and occupational diseases.

Guide grassroots trade unions to organize dialogues, improve the quality of negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements (focusing on salaries, Tet bonuses, working hours and quality of meals). Proactively grasp and forecast the labor relations situation at the end of the year; participate in promptly resolving petitions and recommendations, effectively prevent collective work stoppages, and ensure security and order in the area.

Spreading and organizing practical activities in response to the "National Innovation Day 2026" as directed by the General Confederation, to encourage union members to promote initiatives, technical improvements, improve labor productivity and competitiveness. Effectively implement the work of evaluating, summarizing and considering commendation for trade union work in 2026 to ensure substance and timely encouragement.

Decisively implement the 90-day peak emulation plan for union member development and establishment of grassroots trade unions in 2026. Innovate the content and methods of trade union activities to suit the new local government organization model after arrangement. Form a regular inspection and evaluation mechanism to create motivation for emulation throughout the system...
