VNPT Trade Union launches the Artificial Intelligence Application Contest in Work in 2026
VNPT Trade Union has just launched a campaign for union members and workers to participate in the 2026 Artificial Intelligence Application Contest in Work.
Implementing Plan No. 459/KH-CĐKHCN dated September 30, 2026 of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology on organizing the "Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Work" Contest, the VNPT Trade Union launched grassroots trade unions directly under it to propagate and mobilize union members and workers to actively participate, research and propose AI application solutions associated with practical professional work.
VNPT Trade Union requests grassroots trade unions to coordinate with professional departments to organize propaganda, disseminate the purpose, meaning, content and regulations of the contest to union members and workers; encourage individuals and groups of authors to promote the spirit of creativity, proactively propose and build products and solutions applying AI to practical work.
Contested products focus on solving specific problems in professional activities, contributing to improving processes, saving time, reducing manual workload, improving accuracy and quality of task performance. In particular, the contest encourages solutions that have been piloted or applied in practice, with specific data and evidence of effectiveness, and at the same time have the ability to continue to improve, maintain and replicate at units or units with similar work.
According to the plan, each grassroots trade union proactively coordinates with professional departments to launch, receive, review and select 1-2 of the best products of the unit to participate in the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union competition.
To create conditions for union members and workers to participate in the contest, VNPT Trade Union proposes that grassroots trade unions proactively coordinate with professional departments to support time, resources and necessary conditions for authors to research and complete quality products.
Based on the official results of the contest announced by the Vietnam Science and Technology Union, the VNPT Union will consider rewarding the collectives and teams of authors who won prizes to recognize achievements, encourage the spirit of innovation and promote the application of AI in work.
