Kien Hung Ward Trade Union improves the quality of grassroots trade union activities

Currently, Kien Hung Ward Trade Union is managing 56 grassroots trade unions with more than 3,000 union members. In which, in the first 9 months of 2026 alone, the Ward Trade Union newly established 30 grassroots trade unions, exceeding 600% of the assigned target; admitted 1,784/1,200 union members, exceeding the target by 187%; signed 15/9 collective labor agreements, exceeding the target by 167%.

One of the activities to care for workers implemented by the Ward Trade Union is to commend and give gifts to 69 turns of children of workers, civil servants and laborers who overcome difficulties and study well; 13 families have accessed and borrowed capital from the Trade Union Capital Assistance Fund for economic development; subsidies for union members with critical illnesses...

For emulation movements, the spirit of creative labor is always ignited with nearly 100 recognized initiatives. Many outstanding collectives and individuals have been honored at all levels: Ward Trade Union commended and rewarded 10 good workers, good laborers and 11 typical CNVCLĐ families; 30 individuals and 2 collectives were commended and rewarded by the upper-level Trade Union.

In the last months of the year, Kien Hung Ward Trade Union sets a goal to maximize the protection of workers' legitimate rights; widely disseminate legal policies to 100% of union members; launch the movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income"; promote digital transformation and the movement "Good at state affairs, good at housework"; strengthen financial inspection and survey at enterprises; improve the quality of grassroots trade union activities and develop new union members, and establish grassroots trade unions.
