Railway trade union officials equipped with 9 professional topics
110 trade union officials have just been trained in trade union professional skills by the Vietnam Railways Trade Union.
The Vietnam Railway Trade Union (VNR) has just organized a training class on professional skills for trade union work for grassroots trade union officials of railway units in the Central region. 110 trade union officials from groups and departments of 19 grassroots trade unions in the region attended the professional skills training class.
According to the proposed program, trainees have been researched and trained in professional skills of 9 topics directly related to the functions and tasks of the trade union organization, such as: content and methods of operation of trade union officials in groups, department heads of trade unions, department presidents of trade unions; trade unions participating in building and implementing grassroots democracy regulations at workplaces; labor contracts and the role and responsibility of trade unions; trade unions with occupational safety and health work... In particular, trainees were directly implemented by Comrade Nguyen Thanh Hoan - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Railways Trade Union to implement the Resolution of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress and the 17th Vietnam Railways Trade Union Congress.
By active learning methods, exchanging and solving practical situations, the professional skills training class has achieved positive results; trainees have been supplemented with knowledge and trained in handling and resolving specific situations in trade union organizations and activities, participating in protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
At the end of the training class, the trainees participated in tests and assessments in the form of direct Q&A - the results showed that 100% of trainees had been granted certificates of completion of the learning program by the Vietnam Railways Trade Union.
