Ho Chi Minh City - Phuoc Thang Ward Trade Union has organized the announcement and awarding of decisions to establish 5 new grassroots trade unions with 74 union members in units in the area.
On October 16, Phuoc Thang Ward Trade Union (HCMC) said that in the preliminary conference on activities in the first 9 months of 2026, the unit organized the announcement and awarding of decisions to establish new grassroots trade unions in the area.
In which, the unit announced and awarded decisions to establish grassroots trade unions at 5 units including: Phuoc Thang Ward Construction Investment Project Management Board; Ninokyo Service Co., Ltd.; Ngoc Toan Seafood Trading Co., Ltd.; Trung Son Co., Ltd.; Nguyen Bao Phuong Co., Ltd.
At the same time, announcing decisions to admit a total of 74 trade union members; appointing Executive Committees at newly established grassroots trade unions.
Representatives of newly established grassroots trade unions also committed to coordinating with businesses and upper-level trade unions to build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations. At the same time, listen to the thoughts and aspirations of union members; take care of life, protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
According to Phuoc Thang Ward Trade Union, the establishment of new grassroots trade unions and the admission of new union members will contribute to gathering and uniting workers working in the area.
