Launching the Office of Cluster Area of Industrial Park No. 1 to care for 100,000 workers

The cluster area of Industrial Park No. 1 includes two industrial parks: Van Trung and Viet - Han, with 89 grassroots trade unions with about 100,000 union members and workers.

Of which, about 75% of enterprises have investment capital from Korea and China; the rest are enterprises with investment capital from the UK, France, Japan... The enterprises mainly operate in the field of manufacturing household electrical appliances, electronic components, and supporting industries.

The Office of the Cluster of Industrial Zone No. 1 is one of 7 cluster offices established by the City Labor Federation, aiming to strengthen direct focal points at the grassroots level, helping trade union organizations firmly grasp the situation in the area, promptly support grassroots trade unions, and bring activities to care for, represent, and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers closer to union members.

Each office is staffed with 4-5 full-time trade union officials, organizing rotational duty to regularly monitor, grasp the situation and be in charge of the assigned area.

Mr. Phan The Tuan - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee emphasized the socio-economic development results of the city in the past 9 months and acknowledged and highly appreciated the initiative of the City Labor Federation in organizing and arranging the area, bringing trade union activities closer to the grassroots level.

At the same time, he requested the Office of the cluster area of Industrial Park No. 1 to truly become a direct connection point between the upper-level trade union and the grassroots trade union, businesses and workers.

In the immediate future, the City Labor Federation, the Office of the cluster area of Industrial Zone No. 1 will proactively develop a plan to take care of the Dinh Mui Lunar New Year 2027 for union members, workers, and laborers; ensure that people in difficult circumstances are cared for and supported, so that all workers have a warm, joyful, and safe Tet" - Mr. Phan The Tuan proposed.

On the side of the city government, Mr. Phan The Tuan affirmed that he will continue to pay attention, coordinate and create conditions for the trade union organization to perform well the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; and at the same time coordinate to remove difficulties and create a favorable environment for businesses to stabilize production and business.

Within the framework of the program, the City Labor Federation deployed key tasks to grassroots trade unions in cluster No. 1 industrial park; exchanged and discussed the requirements set for trade union activities in the new situation.

Representatives of grassroots trade unions stated the current situation of operations at enterprises, difficulties and obstacles in gathering union members, taking care of life, representing and protecting workers' rights; sharing experiences, ways of doing things and proposing solutions suitable to the specific characteristics of each unit.
