Vietnam Bank Union strengthens the application of digital platforms

Propaganda work is deployed synchronously on digital platforms

According to the Vietnam Bank Union, trade union levels have implemented the Month of Listening to Union Members and Workers' Voices in 2026 through meetings, dialogues, receiving and summarizing recommendations on employment, income, policies, working conditions, labor relations, trade union activities and obstacles in organizational arrangement and digital transformation.

In particular, based on summarizing opinions throughout the system, the Vietnam Bank Union reported the results at the 3rd Conference of the Executive Committee of the VIII term, and at the same time requested trade union levels to continue to monitor and urge the settlement of recommendations under the unit's authority; contents beyond authority are summarized to propose to competent authorities for consideration. Listening, dialogue and responding to opinions of union members and employees are oriented to be maintained regularly and periodically.

In addition, the Vietnam Bank Union also continues to implement tasks on occupational safety and health in the direction of shifting from phased propaganda to building a safety culture at the workplace.

The focus is on building a labor safety culture at the workplace in the period 2025-2030, striving to maintain at least 5 model points to replicate throughout the Vietnam Bank Union system; and at the same time review working conditions, identify risks and proactively prevent occupational risks.

Information and propaganda work of the Vietnam Bank Union is deployed synchronously on digital platforms, prioritizing reflecting new models, exemplary workers, grassroots-oriented activities and spreading movements.

Contests and specialized communication programs launched by the VGCL are appropriately deployed to affiliated units.

As of September 25, 2026, the Website of the Vietnam Bank Union reached 113,834,909 visits; Fanpage has about 30,000 followers; TikTok channel has more than 1,000 followers, reaching more than 15.3 thousand likes; nearly 200 news, articles, posts and videos have been posted on the Website, Fanpage and TikTok, contributing to strengthening access to information, spreading trade union activities and images of union members and employees in the banking industry.

Promoting activities to care for and support union members and workers

In the coming time, the Vietnam Bank Union will continue to innovate the content and methods of propaganda in a practical direction, strengthen the application of digital platforms; and at the same time complete the Project "Propagating and raising awareness of risk and negativity prevention in the banking industry in the period 2026-2030" and organize the initial implementation...

The industry union will focus on performing the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. In which, grasping the employment situation, income, life, thoughts, and aspirations of union members and workers; monitoring, summarizing and coordinating to resolve recommendations from "Month of listening to union members and workers speak"; promptly participating in handling issues arising related to labor relations, regimes, policies and legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers. Promoting activities to care for and support union members and workers in difficult circumstances, suffering from dangerous diseases, occupational diseases; proactively building programs to care for the end of the year and Lunar New Year 2027.

Continue to improve and gradually implement the Program "Enhancing sustainable health for union members and employees in the banking industry", linking physical and mental health care with building a safe and positive working environment and improving the quality of life of union members.

The industry union also concretized the Coordination Regulations between the Vietnam Bank Union and the State Bank of Vietnam branch in 15 regions, especially the contents of coordination to grasp the labor situation, resolve petitions, care for union members, develop trade union organizations and organize activities in the area.
