26 urging documents, Mai Linh Nha Trang Company still has not paid off social insurance debts of employees
Khanh Hoa - After many times of urging by functional agencies, 2 businesses belonging to the Mai Linh system have still not paid more than 6.3 billion VND of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance.
Many times working, urging to overcome
According to Khanh Hoa Provincial Social Insurance (BHXH), from January 2026 to now, the unit has sent 26 documents urging Mai Linh Nha Trang Co., Ltd. and Mai Linh Group Joint Stock Company Branch in Nha Trang to implement social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and occupational accident and disease insurance for employees.
Mai Linh Nha Trang Co., Ltd. has paid social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance and confirmed social insurance books for 4 employees including Nguyen Than, Nguyen Ngoc Hue, Nguyen Vu Bang and Nguyen Minh Hai.
As of September 25, 2026, the 2 enterprises have not yet fully paid their debts. In which, Mai Linh Nha Trang Co., Ltd. still owes more than 1 billion VND, and Mai Linh Group Joint Stock Company Branch in Nha Trang owes more than 5.3 billion VND.
Regarding Mai Linh Nha Trang Co., Ltd., previously, the Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 3479/QD-XPHC dated December 31, 2024 on sanctioning administrative violations. Khanh Hoa Provincial Social Insurance then issued many documents requesting the enterprise to implement the sanctioning decision, remedy the consequences and fulfill insurance obligations for employees.
On April 3, 2026, the Provincial Social Insurance Agency coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs, the Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) and the Provincial Police to work with businesses to urge the recovery of late payment and evasion of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance. Businesses were disseminated legal regulations on evasion and requested to remedy.
On May 26, 2026, agencies continued to work with Mai Linh Nha Trang Co., Ltd. and Mai Linh Group Joint Stock Company to urge the recovery of late payment and evasion payments. However, after the committed deadline, the enterprise has not fully remedied it.
Khanh Hoa Provincial Social Insurance said that it has requested the Provincial Police to consider and handle Mai Linh Nha Trang Co., Ltd. according to legal regulations.
At the same time, the social insurance agency is coordinating with departments and branches to establish specialized inspection teams at 12 units with prolonged late payment and evasion of social insurance, including this enterprise.
Workers continue to be supported with lawsuits
According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, by the end of September 2026, it had organized 5 sessions to guide employees of Mai Linh Nha Trang Co., Ltd. to comply with legal regulations to protect their rights.
There are 21 employees authorized to sue the Provincial Labor Federation. The total amount of money the enterprise still owes these 21 people is nearly 1.13 billion VND of social insurance money and more than 433 million VND of salary, deposit, and franchise car money.
On April 29, 2026, the enterprise paid 90 million VND in salary debt to employees. By September 29, 2026, the People's Court of Region 1 had considered and resolved 3 dossiers of social insurance debt of employees through mediation.
In the coming time, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation will continue to monitor the enforcement of 3 decisions recognizing agreements of the parties; provide legal support for 18 authorized workers; coordinate with the Provincial Lawyers Association to strengthen support for workers to complete lawsuit dossiers at the Court.
The Provincial Labor Federation also continues to coordinate with Social Insurance, the Department of Home Affairs and relevant agencies to ensure the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
