Businesses in Dak Lak pay nearly 395 million VND in late payment of insurance

On October 5, the People's Procuracy (VKSND) of Dak Lak province informed that the VKSND of Region 3 had just requested businesses and cooperatives to remedy a total amount of nearly 395 million VND of late payment of insurance for employees.

Previously, on September 7, 2026, the People's Procuracy of Region 3 coordinated with Cu M'gar grassroots social insurance to work directly with representatives of businesses and cooperatives that are still late in paying social insurance (BHXH), health insurance (BHYT) and unemployment insurance (BHTN) for employees.

At the working session, representatives of the Social Insurance agency explained and clarified the rights and obligations of employers in participating in and paying various types of insurance; and analyzed the impacts and disadvantages on businesses and cooperatives as well as the rights of employees if the situation of late payment is prolonged.

Representatives of businesses and cooperatives also presented difficulties and obstacles in production and business activities, leading to the failure to fully and promptly fulfill insurance contribution obligations.

The People's Procuracy of Region 3 recorded the opinions and explanations of businesses and cooperatives to comprehensively assess each case, determine the causes, nature, severity of violations and choose appropriate handling measures according to legal regulations.

Immediately after the working session, a business voluntarily remedied the entire amount of 17,318,211 VND of late payment to the Cu M'gar grassroots social insurance agency.

The remaining businesses and cooperatives also committed and built specific roadmaps to fulfill insurance contribution obligations, gradually overcoming the situation of late payment.

Based on the verification results, the People's Procuracy of Region 3 issued 6 decisions requesting the termination of violations for cases with grounds to determine late payment of insurance for employees.

Implementing the requirements of the Procuracy, by September 30, businesses and cooperatives had proactively fulfilled their obligations, voluntarily remedied and paid a total late payment amount of 394,997,472 VND.
