The Trade Union coordinates with employers to guide, summarize, and evaluate initiatives, promptly support the implementation of feasible and effective initiatives; honor and commend workers with many typical initiatives and improvements, achieving high achievements in labor, production, and in skilled worker contests...

From there, select initiatives with high profit value and good spillover effects to propose to superiors for commendation, and at the same time introduce and replicate them throughout the trade union system.

Typical is the initiative of Ms. Than Thi Huong Lan - Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd., with a solution to create cost-saving ideas using design evaluation and functional analysis methods. This is a method that requires high expertise, mainly implemented by the design department.

The initiative has the potential to be applied and widely popularized for the laser printer lines of Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd., bringing a profit of 49.75 billion VND.

Initiative to go into practical issues of production and business

In 2026, according to reports from Trade Union levels in the Capital, there were 71,000 technical innovation initiatives and solutions to improve labor productivity; more than 26,000 initiatives were effectively applied in practice, with a profit value of trillions of VND.

These figures show that the emulation movement has truly entered labor life, becoming a motivation for workers to promote intelligence right from their job positions.

To ensure that initiatives do not stop at numbers or awarded titles, it is important that businesses continue to create an environment for employees to learn, experiment and contribute; the Trade Union organization plays a good role in connecting, protecting and encouraging creative spirit.

Because when workers constantly innovate, work with innovative thinking and create high productivity, the results they create need to be reciprocated by recognition, income and commensurate benefits.

This is the foundation for building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations; turning the workplace into an environment where everyone has the opportunity to develop their abilities and see the value of their contributions.

At the ceremony to commend 100 individuals who achieved the title "Initiative and Creative in Workers, Civil Servants and Laborers of the Capital" on July 21, 2026, Chairman of Hanoi Labor Federation Nguyen Van Thang stated clearly that from nearly 2,000 selected initiatives, proposed from the grassroots level, the Hanoi Labor Federation Emulation Council has selected and recognized 100 outstanding and typical initiatives that achieved the title "Initiative and Creative in Workers, Civil Servants and Laborers of the Capital" in 2026.

Initiatives are increasingly going into practical issues of production, business and life, focusing on material saving, AI application, automation, digital transformation, administrative reform and improving the quality of public services.

In particular, some initiatives also have positive social significance, contributing to creating jobs for thousands of workers in the Capital.
