Major project in Quang Ninh is recruiting more than 4,000 dump truck drivers

According to Quang Ninh Statistics, from the beginning of 2026 to now, labor service and employment activities in Quang Ninh city are estimated to increase by 55.8% compared to the same period last year.

The main reason is the increasing demand for labor recruitment from businesses, especially in industrial parks and large projects, in order to expand production and business activities and accelerate the construction progress of projects.

In the first 9 months of 2026, many businesses in the area expanded production, business and recruited more workers. It is estimated that industrial parks alone have attracted over 10,000 more workers. Most of these come from other localities.

The increasing demand for human resources also stems from a series of large-scale construction, infrastructure and commercial projects being implemented. Notably, Ha Long Xanh Complex Urban Area, Ha Long Ocean Park Project, Aeon Mall Project and businesses in industrial parks.

Prominent among the projects being implemented is Ha Long Xanh Complex Urban Area.

The scale of human resource mobilization at this project shows a very large labor demand from large projects under construction in the area. In the first quarter of 2026, the project used about 12,799 workers; in the second quarter, the number of workers maintained at about 12,155 people. This force is mainly construction workers, engineers and technical workers.

According to Quang Ninh Statistics, construction activities are taking place with high intensity, the average fuel consumption is about 10 billion VND of gasoline and oil per day, reflecting the large scale of mobilization of machinery, equipment and vehicles serving construction.

Currently, the project needs to recruit more than 6,000 workers, including more than 4,000 dump truck drivers. According to the plan, in the next phases, the project also needs to recruit about 50,000 workers and engineers.

The income level for workers is relatively attractive. Workers have an income of 14-26 million VND/month; drivers from 15-22 million VND/month; team leaders of construction teams have an income of over 40 million VND/month.

In addition to salaries, workers are also provided with free accommodation. Workers without skills are supported with vocational training, creating conditions to participate in work at the construction site.

Along with human resource demand, the leasing of machinery and equipment for construction and industrial production also increased sharply.

According to estimated data for the first 9 months of 2026, machinery and equipment leasing activities increased by 43.8% compared to the same period last year.

The main reason is the increasing demand for renting machinery to serve construction projects, infrastructure and industrial production activities. In addition, the city's economy continues to maintain its growth momentum, many businesses expand production and business activities, leading to the demand for using equipment for construction and related services.

The simultaneous increase in demand for renting machinery, equipment and labor services, jobs reflects the heat from investment, construction and production activities in Quang Ninh.
