An Giang - The job fair in Phu Quoc aims to create a bridge between union members and youth and businesses, helping to expand opportunities and orient suitable careers.
In order to create a bridge between union members and youth and businesses, expand job opportunities and appropriate career orientation, the Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone Youth Union in coordination with Urban Railway Company Limited No. 1, Ho Chi Minh City and Sun Group Southern region organized the Job Fair.
At the program, union members and youth were introduced to Metro Line 1 system, Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc light urban railway line, learned about job positions in the field of operating and maintaining urban railways, professional requirements, recruitment conditions and application procedures. Thereby, helping young people, especially students preparing for graduation, have more practical information to determine their abilities, strengths, choose suitable careers and proactively equip themselves with necessary knowledge and skills.
Nguyen Huynh Ngoc Thuy, a student at Phu Quoc High School, said: "Today's festival is very meaningful, helping students who are about to graduate to orient themselves towards work, find jobs according to their interests and aspirations to have jobs that suit their abilities. Through today's session, I also learned about many new occupations, many attractive choices that may be suitable for me in the future.
Through the festival, the Company also wishes to connect recruitment needs with young labor in Phu Quoc, creating opportunities for local youth to participate in the field of modern urban transportation. In particular, when the Phu Quoc light urban railway line is deployed to strengthen traffic connections, serving travel needs towards the APEC 2027 Summit, the preparation of local human resources will contribute to meeting the requirements of operating and exploiting the railway line in the coming time.
