Labor export opens up poverty reduction for people in Trieu Binh commune
Quang Tri - Trieu Binh commune promotes communication and connects labor export, helping people have stable jobs and increase income.
From commune information to job opportunities abroad
After graduating from high school, Mr. Nguyen Cong Nghia (19 years old, residing in Quang Dien village, Trieu Binh commune, Quang Tri province) did not continue to study at university but chose to go to work early to help his family. However, freelance work with unstable income, and at times unemployment, caused him many difficulties in stabilizing his life.
Wishing to find a job with a better income, Nghia once researched labor export information. However, the lack of experience and consulting units far away still caused him many concerns.
In April 2026, while following the information channel of Trieu Binh commune on the Facebook platform, Nghia learned that the locality was introducing and supporting connecting people with labor export businesses. From this information, he proactively researched, prepared documents and registered to learn Japanese to prepare to go abroad to work.

Seeing the commune's announcement, I decided to apply for admission. Unexpectedly, the Japanese language training unit is less than 10km from home, in Nam Dong Ha ward. If the commune had not provided information, I would not have known about this opportunity" - Mr. Nghia said.
Thanks to the convenient distance, Nghia can go to learn Japanese and then return home every day, reducing living expenses during the time preparing to leave the country. According to the plan, in December 2026, he will go to Japan to work, starting a journey to accumulate experience and improve income for his family.
Also choosing to export labor to find directions for economic development, Mr. Doan Van Ti (32 years old, Lao Bao commune) is currently preparing to go to Japan to reunite with his wife, Ms. Nguyen Thi My Linh, who has been working in Japan for 3 months.
According to Mr. Ti, the couple is still young and wants to accumulate capital to develop their business, but economic conditions do not allow it. Therefore, the family agreed to let Ms. Linh go first, while he learns the language and completes the necessary procedures, and is expected to go to Japan to work in February 2027.

Initially, my wife and I had not found a suitable source of information to go to work abroad. When we returned to our hometown in Trieu Binh commune, listening to my wife's relatives who work at the Commune People's Committee introduce us, we decided to learn about and register. Currently, my wife is gradually stabilizing her job there, with an income of about 25-30 million VND/month." - Mr. Ti shared.
Promoting communication, connecting businesses and workers
People in Trieu Binh commune mainly rely on agricultural production, in which growing 2 rice crops/year is the main economic activity. Besides developing small-scale production and livestock models, the locality identifies job creation and income improvement as one of the important tasks to improve people's lives.
Trieu Binh Commune People's Committee has implemented many poverty reduction solutions, focusing on propaganda on labor and employment policies and providing information about domestic and foreign labor markets.
Through the coordination between professional departments, villages and businesses, people have access to recruitment information, learn about working conditions, registration procedures and job export opportunities. The commune's information channel on the digital platform also contributes to bringing information to people quickly and conveniently.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vu - Chairman of Trieu Binh Commune People's Committee said that to support people in economic development, in addition to introducing models, plants, and breeds, the locality also strengthens connections with job introduction centers. In addition, in the past time, the locality has promoted propaganda and provided information about the labor market abroad, helping people access and learn about orders in markets such as Japan, Taiwan (China) and Germany.
