202 initiatives at Cua Ong Coal Selection profited 3.85 billion VND

On October 7th, Cua Ong Coal Selection Company - TKV held a conference to summarize the leadership work in performing tasks in the third quarter, the first 9 months of the year and deploy tasks in the fourth quarter of 2026.

According to the report at the conference, in the first 9 months of 2026, the company recorded 202 technical innovation initiatives, reaching 100.5% of the annual plan; profit value of 3.85 billion VND.

18 individuals were awarded the title "Creative Miner" by TKV Trade Union, and 4 individuals were awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2025.

The company's trade union has participated in building and supervising the implementation of regulations on regimes and policies for employees. Organized a periodic dialogue conference in May on digital transformation and occupational safety and health with 200 officials and employees participating. The "Month of listening to union members and workers speak" conference and the occupational safety and health network activity in July had a total of 334 participants.

In 9 months, the trade union has coordinated with professional departments to visit and give gifts to 533 turns of families of officials and employees in difficult circumstances, with relatives who suffered labor accidents with a total budget of 954 million VND.

The company organized for 203 people to visit; 223 people to relax and receive treatment support in Sa Pa; 2,299 people to have weekend stays. The weekend stay support level is 1.5 million VND/person. The Trade Union supported 4 workers' families affected by storm No. 4 with a total amount of 44 million VND.

Regarding production and business, accumulated in the first 9 months of the year, coal received reached 9.45 million tons, equal to 87.8% of the annual plan; clean coal produced reached 8.9 million tons, equal to 88.77%; coal consumption reached 9.6 million tons, equal to 96.01%. Revenue reached 19.5 trillion VND. Average salary reached 15 million VND/person/month.

In the fourth quarter of 2026, the company determined to continue to arrange production organization, restructure labor, maintain job stability and fully implement regimes and policies for employees; Determined to implement coal received in the period reaching 2,716,767 tons, clean coal produced reaching 2,613,960 tons, coal consumed reaching 2,394,111 tons, revenue reaching 4,683,301 billion VND.

On this occasion, collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements were commended and rewarded by Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (TKV), the company and the company's Trade Union.
