Linking scientific research with practice

As a lecturer in the field of Information Technology - Communications, Master Bui Thi Thuy Chi (Deputy Head of Administration - Organization Department, Can Tho College of Economics and Technology) always believes that teaching must not only stop at conveying knowledge but also create excitement, encouraging students to actively learn and apply what they have learned in practice.

From her professional knowledge, she actively designed learning games, experiential exercises and simulated situations on a technology platform.

What makes me happiest is not only the application of a new technology in the lecture, but also when I see students who are afraid of technical subjects starting to enthusiastically participate, boldly ask questions and confidently perform exercises," Ms. Thuy Chi shared.

Besides teaching, Ms. Thuy Chi also participates in organizational and personnel work at the school. Notably, the process of directly solving work helps her realize many problems that can be improved through the application of information technology. Since then, Ms. Thuy Chi has always linked scientific research with the practical requirements of the unit.

Some outstanding topics and initiatives that Master Bui Thi Thuy Chi has implemented can be mentioned such as party member management software; building a reward management system; solutions to improve the digital capacity of lecturers of Can Tho College of Economics and Technology.

In my opinion, scientific research does not necessarily have to start from big problems, but sometimes originates from specific difficulties in daily work. A solution to help colleagues work more conveniently, save time and improve management efficiency is also a practical value of research and innovation activities," Ms. Thuy Chi confided.

Taking on professional work, teaching and research at the same time requires Ms. Thuy Chi to proactively arrange time and balance tasks.

However, she sees this as an opportunity to learn, experience and develop her abilities in many fields. The concern and support from school leaders, department and faculty leaders, grassroots trade unions and colleagues is also a source of motivation to help her confidently complete her tasks.

Spreading the spirit of "Good labor, creative labor

Besides professional tasks, Master Bui Thi Thuy Chi is always aware of the responsibility of union members in participating in common activities of the Trade Union and the school.

She actively responded to emulation movements associated with expertise, especially "Good labor, creative labor", "Good at state affairs, good at housework", along with activities to innovate teaching methods, scientific research, application of information technology and digital transformation.

For Ms. Thuy Chi, participating in the emulation movement is not simply to achieve titles or achievements, but also to create motivation for each person to improve themselves and contribute more to the collective.

Each female union member does not necessarily have to have great achievements to be able to contribute. Just always being responsible for work, proactively creating, willing to share and progress together, each person has contributed to building a strong Trade Union organization," Ms. Thuy Chi expressed.

Assessing Master Bui Thi Thuy Chi, Mr. Chau Minh Tan (Chairman of the school's grassroots trade union) said that she is a female official with a high sense of responsibility, dynamism, dedication to work and awareness of innovation and creativity in performing tasks.

According to Mr. Tan, what is precious about this female union member is not only the initiatives or research results achieved, but also the spirit of constantly learning, daring to innovate and apply knowledge to solve practical problems. She is one of the typical female union members for the spirit of "Good labor, creative labor", contributing to spreading the image of dynamic, responsible and creative female officials in the digital transformation period.
